Matthew Gray Gubler is an American actor, producer, and model. He is well-known for his role as Spencer Reid in the CBS TV sitcom Criminal Minds and voicing Simon in the live-action Alvin and the Chipmunks film series.
For Disney, he made a cameo as an intern in the 2004 Touchstone Pictures comedy The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (also his acting debut).
