Maui is the deuteragonist of the upcoming film Moana. He will be voiced by Dwayne Johnson.
Background
Maui was a demigod and South Pacific legend. Born a human, and raised by gods. Maui is equipped with shapeshifting abilities and a giant magical hook. He aslo has multiple tattoos across his body, which are animated and move about his skin.[1]
Maui will also join Moana on her travels.
