Maui is the deuteragonist of the upcoming film Moana. He will be voiced by Dwayne Johnson.
Maui was a demigod and South Pacific legend. Born a human, and raised by gods. Maui is equipped with shapeshifting abilities and a giant magical hook. He aslo has multiple tattooed across his body, which are animated and move about his skin.
Maui will join Moana on her travels.

Actually Moana is Maui's daughter. And Sina is Maui's wife. That's why Sina let Moana go to the ocean, to finde her true father...
