Max brings Roxanne on a date to the House of Mouse for tonight and gets the entire staff involved when he tells them to keep his dad, Goofy, from embarrassing him. However, as the date progresses, Max learns the hard way that Mickey and his friends are making the date even more embarrassing than his dad and his actions combined. In the end, Goofy is forced to step in to stop the embarrassment from going any further. Against all expectations, the Date is successful.
"You're late for a very important date at Disney's House of Mouse!"
"And now, he's not your typical mouse next door: Mickey Mouse!"

- This is the only episode in which a character created for a Disney Afternoon-related production (Roxanne from A Goofy Movie) makes an appearance.
- Roxanne was voiced by Grey DeLisle instead of Kellie Martin.
- Lumiere's family is shown to all be candelabras like him; this obviously contradicts the fact that, in Beauty and the Beast, Lumiere is actually a human turned into a candelabra due to the curse that the Enchantress put on the Beast. Of course, this isn't canon to the film.
- Max and Roxanne imitate the famous spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp and the boat scene from The Little Mermaid.
