Maxine Schellenberger is a character featured in the 2020 Disney+ original film Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made.
Background[]
Maxine is a student who is one of Frederick Crocus' students who often wears a pair of glasses. She is shown to be social to anyone who talks to her such as Timmy Failure. Despite her kind personality, she is shown to grieve for Hammy Ham, her pet hamster who died of natural causes, because Hammy was loved by all the people at Carverette Elementary. Not much of her personality is known as she does not speak much.
Role in the film[]
Maxine is first seen in class talking to Mr. Crocus telling him that she doesn't mind taking care of Hammy Ham, her pet hamster just before Timmy decides to change his mind. Timmy later approaches Maxine at her house where she tells him to keep a secret of Hammy Ham, her late pet hamster, which the former asks her that he will take Hammy's body to the lab and open an investigation, much to Maxine worried that she loves animals being on the committee for Animal Awareness Month and instead of telling Timmy to bury her hamster, the latter tells her to step down.
During an Animal Awareness meeting, Maxine passes on a tribute to Hammy Ham, the school's class hamster, who passed away from natural causes, which Molly takes note of Maxine's comment just before Flo tells Timmy to be in a group. Maxine later appears with the other students in a field trip to the Bonneville Dam while Timmy makes a false conclusion to stop Corrina from turning off the power across Portland - unaware that Corrina is still with the group, much to the other students' surprise.
Furthermore, Maxine is seen during an Animal Awareness rally at Cathedral Park amongst many of the attendees. Timmy delivers out a speech during the event and his presentation was successful, just as Maxine and the other attendees praise Timmy for helping change the world using this as a positive impact.
