Mayor Befufftlefumpter is a character on Gravity Falls. He was the reclusive, handicapped mayor of Gravity Falls, Oregon and ruled the city for nearly 100 years before his untimely death.
Role in the series[]
He appeared in "Northwest Mansion Mystery" as one of the guest at the Northwest Manor. He is later turned into a wooden statue by the ghost haunting the mansion, who he mistakes for the grim reaper. He is later turned back to normal along with everyone else after Pacificaappeases the ghost by opening the gate and letting the townsfolk in.
He appears again in "Dungeons, Dungeons, & More Dungeons", announcing the rebuilding of the town on tv.
In "The Stanchurian Candidate", he passes away and an election is held for a new mayor and Stan joins the race. Li'l Gideon uses this as a way to escape prison by having his father Bud run as well and even uses a spell to control him. Although he manages to win a large percent of the vote, Stan is disqualified from the race due to his long criminal record and Befufftlefumpter is replaced by Tyler Cutebiker as the new mayor due to being the only one to fill in the paperwork.
He later made one final appearance in the finale Weirdmageddon as a zombie.
