"Mazel Tov, Libby!" is the first segment of the sixth episode of the Disney Channel animated series, The Ghost and Molly McGee.
Synopsis[]
When Molly discovers her best friend didn't even go close to big on the biggest day of her life, Molly takes charge to throw Libby the best Bat Mitzvah ever.
Plot[]
Molly gets an invitation to Libby's Bat Mitzvah which she is happy to be able to attend, as well as Scratch, though he thinks it has to do with literal bats. Molly and Scratch look up videos on Bat Mitzvahs and are overwhelmed by the stylistic and high quality presentation of them. When they arrive at the ceremony for the weekend, they are disappointed to see that it is a mostly empty, save for Libby's extended family, turtle theming and has very little entertainment value. Libby is nevertheless excited to see Molly there and wants to do a turtle race later. Molly overhears Libby's mom, Leah, talk about how difficult business has been at the bookstore, convincing Molly that they could not afford a high quality ceremony and resolves to fix this problem.
While the Stein-Torres family are distracted, Molly and Scratch proceed to rearrange and redesign the dance hall. Scratch brings in bats, though Molly puts them away in a broom closet. She calls her family; Sharon to do the art for the ceremony, Pete to be the DJ and Darryl to bring the guests in, which he does via performing a conga line. When Libby comes back, she is shocked by the abundance of guests and deduces that Molly was behind it. Despite this, she pushes forward with the ceremony. Molly tries to prevent Scratch from ruining it with the bats, but various other interruptions cause her to ignore Libby who is nervous from all the people staring at her.
After Libby runs away from performing a Hora, as she finds such a practice of the tradition stressful, Molly finds her crying alone in the backroom. Libby berates her for only thinking about herself and not what she wanted, which was to simply spend time with her. She suddenly realizes that she feels like a woman already as Molly apologizes and releases the bats on the guests so that they will all leave. Afterwards, Molly takes part in the Stein-Torres family's tradition of turtle racing. Libby commends Molly for taking responsibility for her actions and tells her that she will be a woman someday. Scratch on the other hand is dealing with the bats that are now attacking him.

- This episode reveals Libby is 12-13 years old, because girls have their Bat Mitzvah at age 12-13.
