Mbita is a character in the Disney+ Original series Baymax!. He is a food vendor who realizes that he has an allergy to fish, ruining his business, but learns to move on with the help of Baymax.

Personality
Mbita is a down-to-earth young man who embraces his culture, family heritage and orientation. However, he feared change and was worried about losing the thing that he loved most following the revelation about his allergy. He eventually comes to accept change and tries to make himself a better person while also becoming more confident in social skills and abilities.

Physical appearance
Mbita is a tall slender African-American man with tall flat hair. He usually wears either an orange, or purple shirt, denim jeans and black sneakers. When working, he wears a beige apron and a paper hat.

- Mbita is the one of many Disney's LGBTQ+ character to be featured in a major role in a Walt Disney Animation Studios production.
- This is one of LGBTQ+ characters that Jaboukie Young-White portrays, the second being Ethan Clade.
- Young-White himself is openly gay in real life.
- Mbita's fish allergy specifically causes Angioedema. The way it is portrayed in the series, is slightly different than how it is portrayed in real life. This was done so that it was not off putting to the audience.[1]
