"Meadow Mania" is the second segment of the ninety-eighth episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis[]
When Gramma's serene country retreat is disrupted by an outdoor festival, she resolves to stop it.
Plot[]
Cricket, Tilly, and Gramma Alice arrive in Smalton for some country relaxation and so they can spend time with Nancy and Nick. When they enter the town, they are surprised by the appearance of "Mead-Heads", a hippie-like commune with an obsession for the natural country life. Alice quickly voices her displeasure of the group and believes that they are there to ruin her country time. Conversely, Nancy seems to slowly, but secretly, show favoritism towards them. Cricket and Nick notice that they drive fancy eco-friendly cars and believe that they are full of money and plot to charge them for being in the country.
At the house, Alice and Tilly notice that the Mead-Heads have set up camp across from them and run over to see what they are doing. They meet the meadow enthusiast leader Fawn who offers them to relax with them, but Alice refuses. She and Tilly decide to plot a way to get rid of them by being "vibe killers" and ruining all the different activities. Meanwhile, Cricket and Nick have set up a scam for the Mead-Heads by insisting that they pay for parking in the area. They go so far as to increase the price when they notice that they are very wealthy. Despite Alice and Tilly's efforts, the Mead-Heads have set up a glowing moon and continue the celebration.
While Tilly goes to destroy the moon, Alice distracts Fawn and the Mead-Heads and comes to realize that due to living in the city, they appreciate country life the same way she does. Tilly successfully destroys the glass moon as the Mead-Heads plan to leave. Overcome with guilt, Alice creates a new moon made of hay and with lights and manages to bring the Mead-Heads back. She tells Tilly that they should appreciate that they respect the country like them and even accepts Nancy's embracing of their culture. As Cricket and Nick congratulate themselves on their scam, they accidentally knock the cars into each other, forcing them to pay everyone back.
