Synopsis[]
She-Hulk discovers Titania owns the name "She-Hulk" and is suing her for trademark infringement.
Plot[]
Jennifer Walters is cooking when she sees a commercial for a perfume titled, "She Hulk", by Titania. Later, Ched barges in with the perfume. She has to explain to Ched that the perfume isn't hers. Walters and Nikki Ramos go to Titania's party to talk to her. Walters finds Titania, who disrespects her before a fan asks Walters to take a photo of her and Titania. At Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway, She-Hulk assures herself that she is Walters, not She-Hulk. Meanwhile, Augustus Pugliese asks Ramos if she could help him get the new release of Iron Man Three sneakers. He wants one to wear and one to sell for profit. They arrive at Pugliese's friend, Alonzo's store. Ramos claims it is just a boba cafe, but Pugliese assures her it is just a disguise for his superhero clothing business. They walk in and tell the employee that Alonzo sent him, but the man is oblivious. Ramos tells him in chinese that they aren't cops and he decides to let them in. Much to their surprise, the clothing is fake. Despite this, they cave in and buy a bunch of clothes.
In Holden Holliway's office, he asks She-Hulk why he had to approve a billboard for "She-Hulk Booty Boost Smoothie." She-Hulk explains that it isn't her and Titania sued her, he isn't interested and stops her, explaining that he is in a lawsuit now with her. He gives her to Mallory Book to represent her. Book lays down the groundwork, telling Walters that they are attorney and client now. Book decides that they need to prove she used the name prior to Titania. She also tells She-Hulk they need to find a new suit for her. Ramos helps her with that.
In court, Titania's lawyer hopes for a speedy trial as Titania owns the name. Book argues that the media calls She-Hulk that name. Titania uses this hearing as a way to advertise her perfume, she then offers the perfume into evidence. Titania plays a recording of Walters telling the press that she isn't and will never be She-Hulk. Book rebuttals by showing an interview of She-Hulk saying that the media gave her the name and she is She-Hulk. The judge says they will pick up the hearing the next day.
Ramos and She-Hulk meet with a man who makes superhero clothing, Luke. Walters claims she doesn't need anything fancy, so Luke tells them off as they are waiting his time. Ramos shows Luke the problem, Walters' suit fits in She-Hulk form, but not in human form. Luke calls for the stretchable fabric. Back at GLH/K, they find Todd, who Walters had previously gone on a date with. He had been talking to Book. In the park, they talk about his date with Walters. She realizes that she used the name She-Hulk to date on an app. This proves she used the name before the trademark.
In court, Book showed She-Hulk's Matcher profile to the judge. They brought in She-Hulk's previous dates for witnesses. Arthur comes in for a hearing and confesses he wouldn't have gone on a date with Walters if she wasn't She-Hulk, only because she wasn't his type. The court rules for Walters, meaning Titania can't use the name. Titania tells Walters they will be seeing each other again. Book and Walters go out to a bar. Book admits she is impressed that Walters would humiliate herself for a case. Walters exclaims that she is happy they are friends now, embarrassing herself by saying it out loud. Book smiles and tells her that she still needs a better suit. Walters is reminded if Luke. At Luke's place, he gives Walters the suit and has her change. He then talks about client confidentiality while carrying a box containing the cowl of Daredevil.
