Melinda is one of the minor characters in the "Pastoral Symphony" segment of the 1940 film Fantasia.

Melinda is first seen looking lonely without a centaur to mate with, and then some cherubs bring her together with Brudus, a lonely centaur. Next, she is seen attending the Wine Festival with Brudus, when Zeus comes in and ruins everyone's fun. Afterwards after the storm, she and Brudus exit from their shelter, and as the night falls, they go to sleep together.
