Melvin is an alien, that is Kirby's dad and Tina's husband, and the (former) main antagonist of the Disney feature film Chicken Little. When his son goes missing, he and his wife start looking for him, causing a massive invasion on Oakey Oaks and creating chaos. When they find him, he apologizes to the inhabitants of Oakey Oaks for the invasion.
