So really there is no answer. I have an approximation if you want.
In Frozen 2, Anna and Elsa find a map on the wreck of their parents ship. At the top of the map there are the Roman Numberals MDCCCXL, or 1840. If the map was made the year before the King and Queen set sail that means Frozen takes place in 1842 and Frozen 2 would be 1845. Anna is 18 in Frozen and would therefore have to be born in 1824. Elsa is 21 at the time placing her birth year in 1821.
Agnarr and Iduna appear to be roughly the same age (12 ish) when the Enchanted Forrest is covered in fog. The fog we know has been ther for a little over 34 years. So, that would mean the EF was covered in fog around 1811. If Iduna and Agnarr are about the same age then they would have have been born around 1799. That means they were 22 when Elsa was born, 25 when Anna was born, and 40 when they died.
If Agnarr is taken just on his word then he would be about 12 when he became king of Arendell. However, we know that Elsa was waiting to ascending the throne until she was 21. So you have two scenarios, perhaps he was 12 when he became king or perhaps he was 21. Depending on the laws of Arendell. I'm inclined to say that he was 12 when he took the throne and he was responsible for creating the law that you have to be 21 before you can rule. But that's my guess..
Again this is all speculation based on what little info we do know. The only thing that we know for sure is that the time of the shipwreck had to be in the year or after the year 1840.
Hello and welcome. I am also a huge Disney fan and like to approach discussions through analysis based on a business perspective. Frozen, was the movie I watched that kicked off my Disney obsession. So it holds a special place in my heart.
Errrrm, I have no idea how to answer that. Firstly, because I've never seen the first one. Secondly, I have no idea how well the first one did at the box office. Thirdly, story is relevant sooo since this is a hypothetical I can't answer that.
Btw, not that I mind but why are you asking me? lol
That's me too, I've been way better, kinda just wish things would work out, but no luck so far. I know, it has been far to long, Avatar wiki is kind of dead right now, I've only been talking to one person over there and they just created their own wiki so we can talk about whatever. But it has been a long time.
Well you know I will, but like I said, that place is kinda dead, At least it has died off a lot this off season, more than what happend after the last off season. Though, I will say, the amount of contributions seems to be significantly lower than it was when I first joined and you, Sparky and Krazykid and I had all those discussions. Hence why I now occupy my time here, and on the Once Upon a Time wiki.
Wish I could say things were better for me online, but not so much. But yeah, Avatar Wiki is really that dead, huh? Kind of missing our chats there before the wiki underwent so much change. Between you and me, I don't think some of the new rules have been good for that site, when they started clamping down on who was allowed to talk and where. Where is Sparks anyway? I know KrazyKid is around, but what of Sparks? Heck, I'm even missing Korratastic a little bit.
Things online for me are alright, it's the real world that's my problem. haha! I just want to be happy, and that isn't working out so well. That's why I have my sudden obsession with Disney. And it might interest you to know, I've watched MLP in the recent weeks, we have a whole new area to discuss. It started off with my simple curious nature, I wanted to watch one season just to see why the hype. Then one season turned into two, then to three, then I was hooked, I wouldn't say I'm a bronie yet but it made me happy, and I am in desperate need of happy.
But I agree with the changes, I miss yelling at nonies, and I miss arguments in the comment sections of pages and everyone seems to be gone. Some of our old friends are few and far between, they all went away. Even Krazykid, he's around and I talked to him once or twice but he's not that big of a player anymore. Sparks, I feel just fell off the face of the earth, along with Lady Apsalar and others. I miss how it was in my early days. It's is going on my two year anniversery over there.
Well that's good man, that's a show that makes you feel good again when you really need it. That's what makes it so much fun. I've been a fan of it for a good while myself now. So far I'm liking the fourth season quite a bit.
Lady Apsalar is gone? Oh no.
Why must they vanish? They can't even leave a notice regarding their departure or check in once in a while? I hope some of them resurface, I mean Felinoel came back recently I saw, and he was gone for like an eternity I think.
It does, I couldn't believe it but I finally understood why the hype. Easily one of my favorite shows right now. I haven't watched Season 4, just what's on Netflix.
She pops up every once in a while to voice an opinion on some forum but other than that she's a ghost. It is quite depressing she's such fun to talk to.
I agree, but really I'm not so much better, I pretty much vanished off of there. The only thing I've done is talk to TarrlokUltimateWaterbender, and half the time it isn't even about Avatar. I left a little thought on a forum though. Someone started preaching Toph is Transgendered. I have no problems with trans people but it made me face palm so hard I had to go to Lowe's and get drywall for repairs.
That's great to hear. Yeah, the show has a strange way of appealing to almost anybody if they give it a look. Like I said it's a feel good show; very uplifting. Who says a guy can't enjoy bright colors and ponies once in a while, right?
Aww man =(
I seriously doubt Toph is of both genders. What even got people discussing that? The idea that she looks more masculine as an adult?
Will you be on the AW when I return? I personally don't know how active I'll be on there, I'm both an unpopular figure there and the site is pretty quiet now. But I might still be semi-active there.
I know, I honestly asked myself what the hell I'm doing, then I told my best friend and she just laughed. I don't get why it is so appealing it just is, I can realate to mostly all of them, especially Twilight and Rarity, Pinky is just hilarious and Rainbow Dash and Applejack are jsut awesome. Don't know why I love it, but I do. Hmm
I know, all I said was 'Really, this is a thing???' Bur really it is just Hasidi's idea and a bunch of others freaking out.
Probably, if I have people to talk to more I would be. I've been contemplating writing a bunch of blogs but I have't been to busy here, where they think lists need periods.
Oh man, I adore Twilight and especially Rarity. =) The others are great too. Yeah, I dunno how it does it, but it took the world by storm in a big way. Not since Avatar have I seen a show make this big an impact.
Come back someday, Lady Apsalar. You too, Sparks, Korratastic, all of you. Bring some life back to the place. =(
D'oh! Well now it all makes sense. DX
Fair enough. I'll get in touch with you there when I am allowed back on. It's gonna be pretty different from when I was last on, I imagine.
It does and I agree this show did something to me. Something I haven't experienced since Avatar and the good Disney movies, Frozen just did it too. (In love with that movie.) Anyway, there is this one episode wherer the cutie mark crusaders go camping with Rarity, Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Rarity pulls out this giant freaking tent and I just have to chuckle because that is so me.
Ruen, is around sometimes, though I haven't seen him in a couple weeks.
It is worth it, they are saying it is the best since the Lion King, I wouldn't say it is better then Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King, but it is certailny up thare, I would say my list would go
1)Beauty and the Beast
3)The Lion King
5)The Little Mermaid
It isn't fun. I don't like camping unless it is for academic purposes.
Well I did it once for a winter trip in grade school, it was called ECOS. In my town's largest park we pitched tents made of tree branchies and stuff and made fires and all that good stuff in the snow. We didn't camp out overnight or anything, but darn was it fun. We even got an ice slide in the middle of the woods as a bonus.
This did just get a bit more interesting. I'm still wondering where the action's gonna come in if any, but this is looking better. Plus, who is that statue anyway? If she's not an Air Nomad, then who is she?
I concur, the statue was the most intriguing part for me, who the heck is she!? But Toph's pyche is certainly interesting. That is something that is not heavliy explored. We get bits here and there in the show but as to really dive in like we did with Katara's was never done. Probably because Toph kept herself very guarded, so this is going to be a trip. :)
I have this growing notion that the comics are going to keep coming so long as Korra is out. I know you don't like Korra but I'm starting to notice that Mike and Bryan are using Gene and Dark Horse to add other levels to the characters and world and expanding on that in the show. Like the spirits with The Search. Book 3 is going to be very Lin centric and her family is confirmed to be discussed, so I feel like they are using The Rift fo build other aspects of Toph's character before they air the show.
Perhaps it's not even someone they should be worshipping. Wouldn't that be quite a twist.
Everybody adores Toph, so anything that provides insight into her past is something everybody's gonna leap on, even if the trilogy itself is considered another mixed bag by the end. I mean this is a girl who was practically nonexistent in her own hometown prior to her journey no thanks to her sheltered upbringing.
I know Lin Beifong will be a major focus of Book 3. Not looking forward to that. I personally really do not like Lin and I find her overrated.
That is what I started to think as soon as I read it!
I know, I am starting to really consider the posibilities with this, and I am excited. Toph's background will be most interesting indeed.
I'm saying this nicely, so please don't take offense to this statement but I'm not interested in discussing Book 3 with you, not because I don't value your opinion but that wasn't the focus of my statement. All I was trying to say was that how these comics seem to be paning out seem to be symbiotic with Korra's run. The comics, to me, seem to be discussing other stories of the old characters so you have a deeper understanding of their offspring. So, my prediction is that as long as Korra is out, the comics will keep coming, something I'm sure many would be happy about, present company included. :)
I'll bet you this is a figure that they wouldn't want to be worshipping once they know better about her. It's said that evil has many faces, this woman may be beautiful but maybe she's actually an evil figure from the past? It's worth speculating.
Maybe something closer to her confronting her past, or even the people who shaped her life for her? She's gotta face her parents again someday.
No I got your point, and I'm not complaining about more comics, I'm glad we're getting something as opposed to nothing. I would prefer animated specials but since Nick won't seize that opportunity, the comics will suffice for a while. But understand, I'm interested in Team Avatar, not the Krew's allies.
See that is exactly what I thought and I love that quote. My theory is that, like everything, the Air Nomads have a slightly darker side. Not that they were bad but everyone has skeletons in their closets. I know how much Gene likes to play with what we know in the comics so I wouldn't put it out of mind just yet. I think she may appear as a spirit but was a living human, or perhaps a past avatar, or even really an Air Nomad Queen if Gene and Mike (as Bryan leaves the comics to those two) wanted to play with Air Nomad history enough. The possiblities that come to my head are endless. hahah
I know, I feel like the story is going to open and run with Toph figuring out her past and her friends learning more about it, and it will conclude with her confronting her parents.
I know, Nick is really kind of stupid. They should have put resources to an expanded universe long ago. it is one of their most popular shows in the past 15 years! Faith alone should have been enough to go on. Comics, TV specials and even Korra from the get go as opposed to the mini series waltz. (FACEPALM) They'd rather promote Spongebob, which hasn't changed since it began and doesn't really teach people anything (though I do respect they confirmed Spongebob as gay, kudos) as well as the Farily Oddparents, which lost it's luster long long ago. Not to mention their new shows just look positively strange, ie Sanjay and Craig.
Could finally happen. We shall see if we finally get that scene.
Nick needs to get with the program and realize there will come a time where SpongeBob and Fairly OddParents will no longer be around to keep them on life support. Besides, SpongeBob's gotten progressively worse with the declining treatment of the characters, and they're just keeping up FOP now because they got nothing better to do with their time, evidently. That show's not exactly the cultural phenomenon it used to be anymore.
They really do, they are really all over the place, honestly I'm not sure how they are still around. Nick is a good company, but how they handle what they have and the shows they greenlight are much to be desired. I want 90's nick + Avatar + goood FOP, I used to love that show.
There's a mystery I really am eager to learn more about now.
Speaking of mysteries, I wonder how our last mystery is doing now that she's finally been found alive and well by Zuko.
It's a scene we've waited just as long for, seeing how it was left wide open by series' end.
Tell me about it. Disney is slowly climbing its way back out of the gutter, Cartoon Network is...........dead, pretty much..........And Nick's on life support. SpongeBob and FOP are suffocating the channel, for Nick they're like a drug addiction. TWO drug addictions. They're overdosing on something that's become more harmful the more you use it. SpongeBob was a hilarious show, but with recent seasons proving more obnoxious than funny, the fact that it gets overexposed and how every second episode is apparently a "special" does not help matters. Nothing special about the so-called "specials" they keep putting on for us. And I won't even get started on how bad SpongeBob looks right now with his worsening torment of Squidward. And FOP........Can someone explain to me why this is still in production? Sure it's not getting hammered like SpongeBob is right now. But is there any point to keeping it on? Personally, I'd be very glad never to hear Cosmo/Mr. Turner's voices ever again. (No offense if you're an FOP fan)
I have wonderd about how that is going, what is Ursa doing now that she has her memories and has reconciled with Zuko? What is Kiyi doing, her brother is the Fire Lord and her sister is crazy and ran away. Speaking of Azula wtf? They better give her more stories, they left one open end with another. I can only trust that it is for continuation purposes for other comics in the future. They are being careful not to shut down all the avenues they have.
It certainly needs to pop up some time, that is one of my few problems with avatar, they didn't really carry all charcter arcs to the end. Ursa was just a punch in the face, but Toph's was understated, but you take notice to it later. Luckly the comics can finish up these arcs and create new fun and exciting stories for world building.
That is kind of why I love Disney so much, it is resiliant as hell! It has ups and downs but while other companies experience great highs then fall and eventually die off Disney just sits around laughing.
Was I a FOP fan, yes, key word WAS. hahaha
But literally Cartoon Network? What, what happened CN? I'm waiting for Disney to buy it hahahah! They buy everything else. And Nickelodeon is certainly on its death bed. They need to reinvent their image, and get new shows, go in a different direction, they need to do something. Disney can't be a kids network monopoly, although, it kinda already is. Nickelodeon I feel survives for their little kid products with Dora and such. Nick Jr. appears more successful than Teen Nick or Nick Cartoons.
I was just thinking about that! Welcome back, and now you get to see the wierdness that goes on there now, literally I have no idea... lots of fanons, lots of weird edits. Just crazy, not like the old days, or even like it was a couple months ago.
Hi, welcome to Disney Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Megara page. Please read the DisneyWiki:Do's and Don'ts for how to edit on this wiki before doing any other edits. Also, please see this blog here to help expand without getting in trouble on the Pirates of the Carribean Wiki and Tron Wiki.
