This is ML from Ohio. I'm a physician on the faculty of a med school and would like to use your Bacchus image in a slide as part of a 5-min video that I'm making to help med students understand the physiology of a disorder called potomania (from Green "poton": an intense and persistent desire to drink excessive amounts of alcoholic beverages). We do not receive any payment for making the videos, nor are they sold or distributed commercially. They are posted on YouTube for educational purposes only, to help educate our students. If you are willing to allow the use of Bacchus, I'm happy to put in a credit line for you and disneyscreencaps.com -- thanks for your help!
It appears you have posted an incorrect photo of Brian Ferguson - Disney Animator on the Brian Ferguson wall. Although I am sure the man who is in the photo is a lovely person - he is NOT Brian Ferguson - Disney Animator. If you do follow Disney animation and are in love with all the work these amazing artists create please remove the photo of the older, balding, gentleman from the current Brian Ferguson page. You are welcome to view the REAL Brian Ferguson, Animator at his website: brianfergusonanimation.com.
I am in posession of a print or "lithograph" of one of the pictures in your group from "The Pointer" The border is 13" x 15" and the print itself is 8" x 10" the picture is your .jpg numbered 11497692-300-219 and is a picture of Mickey sitting on a log reading a book to pluto. Pluto has his ear raised up, listining intently to Donald. Can you tell me anything about the print? I have 3 other prints from the same time period 1. five little rabbits tucked in bed with the largest rabbits feet sticking out of the blanket,
2. Snow White in the forest surrounded by rabbits, squirrels, deer, birds, racoons and chipmunks. 3. Donald Duck heading to the "District school house" and a duck ghost with a halo trying to persuade him to do something. They are all the same size and have "Copyright 1938, by walt Disney Productions" inprinted on the front left corner and the back has a stamp that has a red wavy border around it and says "Walt Disney Pictures Hl lltop 5-3345.
I would appreciate any help I can get in determining an age and level of rarity on these.
