I saw that someone moved Xian Lang's page to Hayabusa the Falcon. I reverted it, but I thought it hsould be up for discussion anyway. I believe that they are two seperate entities, with the falcon transformation simply being an allusion to Hayabusa the Falcon. There is an article below in which Gong Li explains how Xian Lang is more original character, as well as Bori Khan, due to the differences in time periods, as well as motivations. The names aren't the only things that make the characters different, so I believe that we should retain the seperate character pages. What are your thoughts?
Nobody is going to have any thoughts on this if its just on your wall. This has to be a blog post or a discussion in order for others to read and reply. To answer your questions I kind of agree with Moviemagic2's reasoning, and its not like we haven't done this before with other original Disney characters.
I've put it up on a forum, but the main issue is that not everyone will see it, and I think my point may be ignored. I messaged you since you were the one who reverted my edit. I may wait for other members of staff to appear online, so I can message them too.
Since we have a tidier and organized system with categorizing Star Wars, I think we should carry out the same treatment with Marvel. For a while I've noticed that many users have been inserting pretty much all related categories to certain articles. It's become a bit of a mess.
Example, remove categories relating specifically to the Avengers, Spider-Man and Iron Man movies and only keep Marvel Cinematic Universe. This will require some help. You, User:SilverFlight, User:Vulchak and myself have the tools to get the job done a lot faster.
Quick question, is that all subcategories that go into the MCU (e.g. Iron Fist for example has a few catgeories. Do we remove "Iron fist characters", "Iron Fist locations", "Iron Fist galleries" and replace them with MCU equivalent?
Also images is a bit different, so do we keep the images category same too?
Sorry, not sure if I completely understand. Is this for every sub-franchise in the MCU. I just deleted all the "Iron Man characters" category. Do I do this for every franchise in the MCU, such as the ones you stated above, and others like Iron Fist (which is a TV series, so a bit different)? Also shouldn't we keep categories like Spider-Man if they have their own animated series?
I want to put in a request for userboxes related to ESPN and 20th Century Fox, I’m not asking about this because I want to add them to my user page, but because others might add them to their pages and find that some usage of them should qualify them for inclusion on this site.
On the Disney Wiki, we're not supposed to put up snapshots of different positions. That's called spamming. And we cannot create a page about the digital music company CDBaby on there, either, unless we find a reliable source.
