I saw your message to Duke Remington, and I strongly recommend that you remove it at once. I appreciate what you're trying to do, but it's not worth it. Duke Remington is beyond reasoning, and if you're not care he'll probably start harassing you too.
It's best to just leave him. What happened between us was a long time ago, and we have moved on since then.
Really? Okay then. I just thought he might have seen the error of his ways after two years but if that's how you feel then I'll delete it.
I still do think that eventually, he'll regret his behaviour and I believe anyone is capable of changing their attitudes (well, some people). But if this isn't the case with Duke Remington, then I'll gladly take down my comment to avoid getting abused. Thanks for trying to protect me.
There is not reason to note the name again in the birth section unless there is a full name. First, middle, and surname. Lastly, you don't need to insert the infobox's name section, because it will display the page's heading automatically.
I know there's no reason. It's just that I've seen many articles about actors with the full name (even if it's not the full name) again in the birth section and I think it's better that way. Plus, I don't recall inserting his name in the name section. I literally have no idea how that happened.
I never told you to leave the Wiki. You see in the past we've had a series of incidents. Spamming pictures in galleries, over detailing the contents, creating articles that lack contents, and so on. In that time I have become very protective of Disney Wiki. I can't help myself. I don't believe you were causing any harm, and your literature has potential. You're still welcomed to stay and create new articles, but remember to understand that not everything you do will be accepted no matter how much work or research you put into. Contents and pages will be erased, even the best of them.
Just do what you do. However, I'd recommend that you try to be a littler tidier when you insert an infobox. Don't leave the code in a paragraph, and don't bother including birth and death in the introduction when it's already noted in the infobox. Learn from what I've done on the Vittorio Gassman page.
Still need to tidy the code layout of the infobox, and to do that you must switch to source mode. You also don't need to fill in the name section as the infobox will display that automatically. Only fill in the name section when their is parenthesised text alongside the heading.
One last thing. You don't need to keep reporting to me on everything you've done.
When you create articles for actors, do not add unecessary information about their personal lives or roles outside of Disney. State their name, professions in the entertainment industry, and what they've done for Disney. That's it.
I know that but I don't think it would be wise to have the page stubbed. It doesn't matter anyway, the page was deleted. By the way, sorry for not replying to this message a while back. I just wasn't sure exactly what to say since it was my first time getting a message from an user/admin.
You don't have to worry about length with actors and actresses (or people, really) because their articles are only meant to highlight their contributions to Disney, and for 99% of them there's really not much to say in that regard.
I understand. User:Ngh93 was having an issue with putting up an article about Alan Ruck a while back because User:Alex2424121 deleted it because it had very little to do with Disney. I think he would have had more of a chance if he only highlighted the Disney information about Alan Ruck.
My articles about the Italian dub actors were deleted because User:SilverFlight thinks foreign voice actors don't belong on this wiki. She asked some the admins to help her delete them. When she did, I was a bit surprised because she said that she "only just noticed them." Most of these articles had been up there for a long time before they were deleted so surely, she would have noticed them a long time ago.
I agreed with Silver about the dub actors. They made a valid point in that they don't really have a place here as there are other sub-Disney wikis strictly devoted to other languages. Really, the only time non-English speaking actors and actresses are listed in infoboxes is in the case of something like Kingdom Hearts, where its a Japanese-made product that also has a large global presence, specifically in North America.
Hi, welcome to Disney Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Fabrizio Manfredi page. Please read the DisneyWiki:Do's and Don'ts for how to edit on this wiki before doing any other edits. Also, please be respectful of other users.
Please leave me a message if I can help with anything!
I've decided to leave this wikia because a user told me that I'm spamming this wikia with too much information about foreign voice actors. I didn't mean any harm whatsoever. Sorry for the inconvenience. I might come back sometime in the future though.
It's okay, I've changed my mind. It's just that the content moderator Alex 2424121 told me that I have an infatuation with Italian voice actors when I actually have a vast knowledge of them. He also deleted some of my pages about some of these actors without asking permission. When I threatened to leave, he admitted to me that he is a bit too overprotective of the wikia's content. He gave me some advice on what I can do to improve these pages. I'm currently on the verge on creating one right now using his advice.
In the category that says "International voice actors", It has people from outside the United States that voiced characters. It should only be people who voiced characters in foreign dubs of Disney productions. The Italian voice actors I created would obviously be a prime example.
