"Mickey's Fishy Story" is the eighty-eighth episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It originally aired on Disney Jr. on July 29, 2011, and is the twenty-first episode in the third season.
Synopsis[]
Mickey and his friends travel to the jungle to find a "swimming friend" for Daisy's pet goldfish.
Plot[]
The episode begins in the Clubhouse with Mickey greeting the viewers when Minnie and Daisy arrive with Goldy the Goldfish. Since she doesn't have anyone to swim with, Minnie and Daisy are going to the waterfall in the jungle to find a swimming friend for her to swim with in her fish bowl. Mickey likes the idea, and decides to join Minnie and Daisy in the search. Mickey then goes to the Mousekedoer to pick up his Mouseketools: pots and pans, binoculars, a giant bendy straw, and the Mystery Mouseketool.
Mickey, Minnie, and Daisy then fly to the jungle in the Glove Balloon with Donald joining them. Mickey wonders where Pluto is, and he is sleeping in his doghouse. Daisy wonders if they'll see Coco the Coconutty Monkey, and this causes Pluto to join along. Later, the Glove Balloon crashes on top of a tree, meaning it has reached the jungle. To get down to the ground, Mickey calls Toodles for the giant bendy straw, which he, Minnie, Daisy, and Donald use to slide down. Pluto then joins them and decides to sniff out a path to the waterfall.
He eventually finds Goofy's hat, and Goofy himself shows up from a bush with Coco, and they are eating coconuts and having a coconutty party. Pluto is happy to see Coco again, and Daisy tells Goofy about finding a swimming friend for Goldy. Goofy decides to join along, and Coco knows someone who does know the way to the waterfall - Jungle Pete. Goofy hears him playing his drums, and runs away. He then gets flung into a tree stump, where he gets stuck. So, Mickey calls Toodles for the Mystery Mouseketool, which is a handy crane. Coco uses it to pull Goofy free. Goofy then hears Jungle Pete again, and he arrives, delighted to meet the gang. After being told about it, Jungle Pete decides to show them the way to the waterfall, and tells them that they can get there easy by riding on elephants.
Elephants can be called by playing drums. Since the gang doesn't have any drums, Mickey calls Toodles for the pots and pans, which they use as drums to call the elephants by following a pattern. The elephants then arrive, but Coco wants to ride an elephant although she's looking forward to the coconutty party, as well as Goody and Donald, who Coco describes as the best drummer she's ever heard. Donald and Pluto decide to come to the coconutty party and drum some more.
It is up to Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, and Jungle Pete to find the waterfall. However, there are only two elephants. So, Mickey and Minnie ride on one while Pete and Daisy ride on the other. They eventually find the waterfall, and later, splashing. Since it's too far away for them to tell what it is, Daisy calls Toodles for the binoculars, so that they find Salty the Seal, a hippo, and a goldfish just like Goldy, making three swimming friends. Since Goldy's fishbowl is too small, per Mickey's advice, Daisy puts Goldy in the lake so she can join her friends. The gang then returns to the Clubhouse, where they do the Hot Dog Dance. The episode ends with them exiting the Clubhouse as it disappears and Mickey waving goodbye to the viewers.
