A playful baby bull named Francisco interrupts Mickey's perfect day for Minnie in Madrid. Mickey accidentally takes Francisco's favorite red rose while Donald introduces Daisy to José and Panchito, but Donald eats too much spicy food and loses his voice, so Daisy fills in for him for the performance until Donald gets his voice back.
Plot[]
The episode begins in the Roadster Garage with the gang preparing for a day in Spain. Goofy is excited to do flamenco dancing (which he keeps mispronouncing as "flamingo"), Mickey wants to Minnie for a relaxing day around, and Donald is excited to do a show with The Three Caballeros. Everyone then takes off for Spain. Upon arrival, Mickey picks a rose and gives it to Minnie, unknowing that a bull named Francisco was smelling it, causing him to run after them.
Donald and Daisy meet up with the other two Caballeros and eats some spicy tacos, but immediately loses his voice. Desperate to put on their show, José and Panchito decide to have Daisy sing in Donald's place since she knows the lyrics to all of their songs. Mickey and Minnie are exploring a marketplace but are forced to flee when Francisco catches up to them. Goofy finds a flamenco dancing competition, where Clarabelle announces the current champion, El Horace Horsecollar. Goofy willingly participates, though initially confusing the champion.
Mickey and Minnie are having a picnic in front of the Parque de el Retiro, but have to flee again when Francisco finds them. They find Goofy dance battling against Horace and cheering him. Clarabelle announces musical accompaniment by the Three Caballeros, minus Donald plus Daisy. Meanwhile, Donald restores his voice by eating some flan. He catches up with his friends and performs. Mickey and Minnie once again run from the bull but Minnie realizes that Francisco wants the rose. The episode ends with everyone celebrating.
Goofs[]
During the scene where Mickey and Minnie have a picnic and escape from the bull, the rose is in the center of Minnie's bow instead of her ear.
