Trivia[]
- The plot of the short, "A Goofy Ghost Story", is extremely similar to that of the Mickey Mouse Works short, "How to Haunt a House", which involves Goofy being learning to be a scary ghost.
- Additionally, Goofy's "Boo!" dialog from that short is either reused from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode "Minnie Red Riding Hood", which was actually part of Goofy's sneezing sound, but with the "ah-ch—" part being replaced with "B" maintaining the "oo!" part or the Mickey Mouse episode "Wish Upon a Coin".
- The plot of the short, "Daisy's Scary Fairy Tale", is also extremely similar to that of the 1959 film Sleeping Beauty.
- Unlike Mickey Saves Christmas and Mickey's Christmas Tales, and just like Mickey and Friends: Trick or Treats, Pluto is absent in these shorts.
- Pete, the main antagonist of the Mickey and Friends franchise, appears in the short "Minnie's Creepy Crawly Tale" as Werewolf Pete, despite not appearing in the main special Mickey and Friends: Trick or Treats.
- In fact, this short marks Pete's first appearance in stop-motion animation.
- In the short, "A Mickey Monster Tale", a Mickey pumpkin can briefly be seen, which resembles the Mickey pumpkins seen at the Disney parks during Halloween.
- Additionally, Mickey is seen wearing his regular outfit throughout half of that same short, which consists of his iconic red shorts with white buttons, yellow shoes and white gloves. Mickey is the only character to wear his regular outfit in the stop-motion Mickey Mouse projects, not counting the rest of the Sensational Six wearing their regular outfits in stop-motion Christmas shorts in 2019 a few years prior to the Christmas and Halloween specials and shorts.
