"Mickey's Wild Tire!" is the first segment in the first episode of Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures as well as the first episode in the entire series. It premiered on January 15, 2017 alongside "Sittin' Kitty".

Synopsis

Mickey tries to surprise Jiminy Johnson (Jimmie Johnson), a racing champion and good friend of Mickey, with the tire from his first roadster, but Pete feeling jealous because his gift which is a scale model of Jiminy's first Roadster wasn't worthy enough as a gift and tries to nab the tire Mickey has for Jiminy.

Plot

The episode begins outside the Roadster Garage, with Billy Beagle announcing on live television that famous racing champion Jiminy Johnson will be visiting Hot Dog Hills later today. Pete is sneaking outside the garage, outside to show Jiminy his gift: a model of his first racer. However, while spying on Mickey and friends, he discovers Mickey's gift: a tire from Jiminy's first Roadster. Pete immediately feels jealous and plots to steal the tire. While planning, Jiminy appears and greets Mickey. However, Pete "accidentally" makes a cart roll into Goofy, causing a series of events to make the tire roll out of the garage. Pete immediately goes after it. Mickey has Minnie and Goofy keep Jiminy busy while Donald and Daisy help him retrieve the tire.

Mickey, Donald, and Daisy find the tire and Pete chasing after it. It becomes a race for whoever first attains the tire. Meanwhile, Goofy makes a mess on Jiminy's current Roadster to keep him occupied and offers to help him clean it. Daisy gets stick on a flower garden while Donald gets stuck in a fountain. Minnie gives Jiminy's Roadster crazy customizations while Goofy gives Jiminy a ride in his bathtub Roadster. Mickey gets stuck in a tree, allowing Pete to chase the tire solo.

The trio get themselves out and make their way back to the Roadster Garage, and Mickey successfully grabs the tire. Pete is now upset, but Mickey tells him that his model is just as amazing. Cut to the center of Hot Dog Hills, where Mayor McBeagle greets everyone. Mickey and Pete present their gifts to Jiminy, both of which amaze him. The episode ends with Donald getting a crazy hairstyle after messing with Goofy's bathtub.

Trivia

• It's pretty ironic that the series premiere start off with a NASCAR driver guest star that recently became a seven-time champion.
• This episode was produced in 2016 according to the credits.
