Mickey Foils the Phantom Blot

Mickey Foils the Phantom Blot is an animated short originally aired as part of the fifteenth episode of Mickey Mouse Works, and later featured in the House of Mouse episode "House of Crime". It notably marks the first animated appearance of Chief O'Hara from the Mickey Mouse newspaper comic strip, and also the Phantom Blot's second appearance in animation (the first being the DuckTales episode "All Ducks on Deck").

Synopsis

When Von Drake arrives at Mickey, Donald and Goofy's delivery service with a mysterious package that he wants delivered to himself our heroes smell a mystery. The mystery deepens when the package is stolen by the Phantom Blot.

• This is the only two-part Mouse Works short that wasn't in the "Mouse Tales" series.
• The Rorschach Club is a reference to the Rorschach inkblot tests.
• When trapped in the tablecloth, Mickey, Donald and Goofy resemble a closed inkwell.
