Mickey Mania Parade is a former daytime parade that ran at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom from June 1994 to September 1996 and Tokyo Disneyland in 1995.
Magic Kingdom version
The parade starts with Donald, Pluto, and Roger Rabbit on a beach-themed float with the Mickey Mania logo on it. Bikers often jump off the ramps and do stunts. Launchpad McQuack also appears solely on this unit during the 1995 rendition of the Easter parade.
Another float is a balloon themed float with Goofy and Max.
The next one features many characters from various Disney properties. Pooh usually stands on the float. Peter Pan, Wendy, Alice, the Mad Hatter, Pinocchio, and Smee ride on tricycles. Tigger, Snow White, and Dopey hold Mickey puppets while walking behind it. The Bandar-Log sometimes appears as well.
The next one is a clock-themed unit where Chip and Dale toy around with the clocks. Jiminy Cricket, Cogsworth, the White Rabbit, and Tick-Tock the Crocodile walk behind it.
The final float Mickey stands on closes the parade.
The original script for the opening announcement had Roger Rabbit but had him replaced with Max to avoid trouble with Steven Spielberg.
Tokyo Disneyland version
A similar version of the parade ran from April to October 1995, as part of a Tokyo Disneyland special event of the same name.
only had three floats, one holding Minnie, Donald, and Pluto, the second holding Mickey himself with many Mickey figures on it, and the third being clock-themed with Goofy, Roger Rabbit, and Chip and Dale. Unlike the Florida version and like with many special event Parades, this version includes a show stop.
The original Roger Rabbit opening script was used in this version but with the "Magic Kingdom" replaced with "Tokyo Disneyland".
