Milligan Wetherall is a major supporting character in the Disney+ series The Mysterious Benedict Society. He is one of Nicholas Benedict's top agents with an enigmatic past.
Milligan is a tall and quiet individual. He comes off as intimidating and aloof, but is actually quite nice and harmless. He is very loyal to Mr. Benedict and it is implied that he experienced some sort of trauma that had inflicted him, resulting in him becoming rather reserved and withdrawn. He nevertheless, remains committed to the task at hand and makes sure that no harm comes to Mr. Benedict or the children.
Physical appearance[]
Milligan is tall has a a large beard and long hair. He is always wearing a big coat with a vest, an undershirt, large pants, and boots. He also wears a black hat and sometimes carries a satchel with him.
Abilities[]
Being a large man, he is able to physically defend himself and is an expert in hand to hand combat. He also wears disguises and will even convincingly alter his voice if necessary. He claims to be a "left footed swimmer" as he was able to swim with one of his legs paralyzed.
Trivia[]
In the original books, Milligan is described as having blond hair and his disguises are extravagant to the point that he can physically alter his size if necessary. He is also Kate's biological father.
