"Minnie's Backpack Adventure" is the ninth episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+. It was released on Disney+ on July 22, 2025 and it premiered on Disney Jr. on September 5, 2025.
Synopsis[]
Mickey, Minnie and their friends hike to Goofy Rock.
Plot[]
Minnie calls the rest of the Sensational Six to the Laughing Loft for a big surprise. Using the Laughing Loft machine to reveal the crafts area, Minnie shows them the new backpacks that she made for each of them. They decide to go on a hike to Goofy Rock to test them out, but they first get some Mouseketools: a giant muffin tray, earmuffs, suction cup shoes, and the Mystery Mousekepal. They are also given a Mousekemap that Toodles can show them anytime by calling him with a chant. The map shows them three locations that they must pass through to reach Goofy Rock: Jungle River, Banana Bluffs, and Cloudy Canyon.
The gang begins their journey as they sing a marching song. Upon reaching the river, it is too wide to jump, so they call Toodles for the giant muffin tray, which can be used as a boat and is big enough for all of them. Donald also brought paddles with him in his backpack. After crossing the river, the group examine the map and see that they must go to Banana Bluffs next. They sing the marching song again. They meet Coco the Coconutty Monkey. Goofy finds two signs: one with a picture of a banana and the other with a picture of a pineapple. Coco tries to tell Goofy that the sign with the bananas points to the right direction, but Goofy doesn't hear her, so Coco takes Goofy's hat to get him and the gang to chase her to Banana Bluffs, where Goofy slips on a banana peel. After checking the map again to ensure that they are in the right place, Coco gives Goofy his hat back. They take a break eating some bananas and drinking water from thermos that they brought along with a doggie bowl for Pluto. Looking at the map, their next stop is Cloudy Canyon, but Toodles warns them of rain there. They sing the marching song again.
Reaching the canyon, it begins to rain, but Daisy and Minnie take out their large umbrellas to cover everyone. Donald is scared by the thunder, so the gang call for Toodles for the earmuffs for Donald to wear so he will be less frightened. Mickey and Minnie sing a song to help him calm down. When the storm ends, Donald takes off his earmuffs and the gang sees a rainbow. Toodles shows them the map one more time while declaring that there will be sun ahead. They sing the marching song one last time. They find the path blocked by rocks and trees and call for Toodles. Daisy suggests the suction cup shoes, but this idea is rejected as the rocks and trees are too uneven, so they use the Mystery Mousekepal. It is revealed to be Aviator Clarabelle, who arrives on the Toonplane and directs them to another route with six palm trees, which also leads to Goofy Rock. Reaching Goofy Rock, Goofy tries to climb it, but it is too steep. They call Toodles for the suction cup shoes, which Goofy uses to climb to the top of the rock as everyone else cheers for Goofy by chanting “Stickety stuck, then you go up”. After he makes it to the top, Minnie prepares to take a photo, but Goofy finds that Coco has tagged along with him as the photo is taken, ending the episode as the gang goes back to the Clubhouse to do the Hot Dog Dance.

Trivia[]
- This episode marks the most Toodles callings in a single episode. Not just in MMC+, but the whole MMC franchise. Since Mickey also calls Toodles for the Mousekemap a total of five times, this brings the total up to nine.
- Additionally, when Toodles is being called, seven of the nine times used the same exact recording of Mickey calling him. The two exceptions were getting the second Mouseketool (which Minnie calls out for Toodles) and for the final Mouseketool (where Mickey uses a different recording of it).
- Additionally, when Mickey chants the chant to call Toodles for the Mousekemap, only two different recordings were used.
- Additionally, when Toodles is being called, seven of the nine times used the same exact recording of Mickey calling him. The two exceptions were getting the second Mouseketool (which Minnie calls out for Toodles) and for the final Mouseketool (where Mickey uses a different recording of it).
- The Wacky Tube song is shortened in this episode, making this the second variation of the song.
- This episode is maybe either a remake or a sequel to "Mickey & Minnie's Jungle Safari" from Season 2 of the original series.
- This episode marks the return of Goofy Rock, albeit with a different design.
- This is the second time Clarabelle is the Mystery Mousekepal after "Please the Bees", where she was Beekeeper Clarabelle.
- Coco the Coconutty Monkey returns after the original series’ "Mickey's Clubhouse Rocks".
- The backpacks look similar to the backpacks from Mickey Mouse Funhouse.
- Toodles is shown to have two new features: the ability to show a weather report, and change his ears to screensaver ears.
- The suction cup shoes are a returning Mouseketool from the original series.
- Toodles gets a lot more screen time in this episode of the reboot series.
- This is the first episode where the Sensational Six is referred to by name.
- In the marching song, the part where Mickey (and the gang due to it being a “repeat after me” song) says "Jungle River, Banana Bluffs..." then claps 2 times, and says "...Cloudy Canyon" is a reference to the “Travel Song” from Dora the Explorer, which also features clapping. In that song, Dora and Boots (or other characters) list the places, and the clapping part is used after "Where are we going?". (example: “Where are we going? (clap 3x) (destination)!”). The claps are done 3 times in the Travel Song and not 2 times like in the marching song. The clapping part of the Travel Song from Dora was first used in “Lost Squeaky” in airing order, and in “¡Rápido, Tico!” in production order.
- The release of the episode was originally supposed to be August 22nd, but it was changed to September 5th for unknown reasons.
- Little Helper appears in this episode, but isn't mentioned.
- This is the third episode where “Everybody say ‘Mystery Mousekepal!’” is not said when picking it, and the second in a row to do so.
- The subtitles refer to the Mousekemap as the “Mouska map”.
- This episode is technically a musical episode, since it has more singing than speaking.
Goofs[]
- In Clarabelle's Pie Dilemma from Mickey Mouse Funhouse, Goofy is allergic to bananas, but in this Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ episode, he is not.
- However, it could be a possibility that Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ and Mickey Mouse Funhouse are both separate universes (despite both shows using the same models from Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures), where in Funhouse, Goofy is allergic to bananas, while he isn't allergic to bananas in both the original Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+.
- The subtitles list every instance of “Sensational Six” as “Sensational six”, with “Six” being lowercase. In the first marching song, the first instance of the term is correct.
- When Daisy says “Maybe we’re in Banana Bluffs”, the words “Banana Bluffs” are uncapitalized in the subtitles.
- Minnie says that the rocks and trees aren’t smooth so they couldn’t use the suction cup shoes, but Goofy used them to climb up Goofy Rock. (It could imply that the pile of rocks and trees might be hard to use the shoes.)
- When Minnie says “Next, we’ll head to Banana Bluffs”, the subtitles say Daisy said it.
- Right before Daisy tells the viewer(s) to row with the gang, they are near the end of the river. When that moment exactly happens, they are further away.
- Donald doesn’t have ears even though he could still hear the thunderstorm when he wears the earmuffs.
- In real life, ducks hear using internal ears located behind and below their eyes.
