"Minnie's Dinner Party" is the eighth episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+. It was released on Disney+ along side other episodes on July 22, 2025 and premiered on Disney Jr. on August 15, 2025.

Synopsis[]

Minnie throws a dinner party for Clara Cluck.

Plot[]

Minnie arrives with a hat that she got from Clara Cluck. She has also arranged a dinner party for Clara. To prepare, she and Mickey get Mouseketools from the Mousekedoer: a candelabra, a red wagon, a handheld fan, and the Mystery Mousekepal. Minnie has already put her special Cheesy Macaroni Magnifico in the oven, so they set the table while it cooks. Mickey asks about what they need to set the table, and Minnie gets everything while singing a song. Because they have a large supply of things, they call Toodles for the red wagon, which they use to carry the plates, glass cups, and string of lights. The two then head outside, forgetting to bring the tablecloth.

Reaching the picnic table, they find Donald and Daisy playing checkers, with Goofy acting as the referee. Daisy wins the game and Minnie asks if they can borrow the table. Goofy doesn't know what a dinner party is like because he's never had one before, so the gang explains in song. They have arranged for eight guests: themselves, Clarabelle, Clara, and a mystery guest. Minnie and Mickey realize that they forgot the tablecloth, so Minnie calls Little Helper, who shows up wearing the tablecloth like a cape. Minnie decides that they need a different table, so a Handy Helper pushes the Surprise Switch to replace the picnic table with a dining table, which they put the tablecloth on. They proceed to set up the table by putting the plates in a color pattern (yellow, blue) before setting up the cups and spoons, but find one of the spoons missing. It turns out Goofy is borrowing it to use as a mirror to see if he looks good. With the table set up, Donald and Goofy go to hang the lights, but Minnie notices that they need a centerpiece for the table and call Toodles for the candelabra. Little Helper brings five candles for the candelabra, which are electrical candles that light up when Minnie claps her hands twice. Goofy and Donald have difficulty with the lights and get entangled, but Little Helper gets them untied and hangs the lights up himself.

The gang head to the Laughing Loft to get the hats that Clara gave Minnie. Finding the trunk containing the hats via Laughing Loft Machine, they choose various hats. Mickey gets a top hat, Goofy gets a hat with a feather in it, and Daisy removes her bow to put on a fancy hat similar to Minnie's. Donald doesn't like any of them, so Mickey has him wear his original sailor's hat. They come back down as a Handy Helper sets up a red carpet for them to strut their stuff while Minnie sings a song. By this time, Minnie's Macaroni Magnifico dish is done, but it is still hot. They call Toodles for the handheld fan, which they use to cool it off, but it still needs something special. They call Toodles for the Mystery Mousekepal, revealed to be Pasta Pete, who suggests that they should add parmesan to the macaroni and they invite Pete to their dinner party, giving him a spaghetti and meatballs hat. Clarabelle and Clara arrive as they all head outside to enjoy the feast. The episode ends with a photo of everyone being taken.

Trivia[]

  • This marks Clara Cluck's first appearance in the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse series.
  • This is the second time that Pete is the Mystery Mousekepal, with the first being Clarabelle's New Coop where he was Tow Truck Pete.
  • Two Mousketools, the red wagon and the hand fan, return in this episode.
  • The episode's title is a direct reference to the 2008 Flash game of the same name.
  • This episode is technically a musical episode, since it has more singing than speaking.
  • Despite being labeled as a Minnie episode, Mickey reads the episode title and thanks the viewer(s) during the Hot Dog Dance.
  • This is the first variation of the Wacky Tube song as Minnie is wearing her fancy hat instead of her usual bow.
  • Toodles' original face returns in this episode, albeit, when he's about to show the first Mouseketool.
  • Cheesy Macaroni Magnificico is probably a reference to King Magnifico, the character from the movie Wish.
  • This is the second time Pluto is absent after "Please the Bees", as well as the second time he's absent in a row.
  • This is the second episode where "Everybody say 'Mystery Mousekepal!'" is not said when picking it.
  • This is the third episode where a character sings a song entirely by themselves, in this case Minnie after Goofy in Goofy Pizza and Minnie herself in Minnie's Tune Train.
    • This is also the second time Minnie sings entirely by herself.
  • The subtitles refer to Cheesy Macaroni Magnifico as "cheesy macaroni magnifico", which the term being lowercase.
  • The last two Mouseketool segments happen too close to each other.

Goofs[]

  • When Toodles arrives for the first Mouseketool, his face disappears for a split second.
  • Mickey is not seen next to the Surprise Switch when the location changes from the living room to the kitchen.
  • When Mickey and his friends are calling down the Wacky Tube, Goofy is missing. This is probably because the animation from Mickey's New Helper was reused in this episode.
  • When Pete looks at his hat in the mirror, the gang says "Aww!", but the subtitles say they cheer.
  • When Minnie says "Napkins and some happy tunes", the subtitles list "tunes" as "tools".
  • When Minnie says "And the last color?", the subtitles list "color" as "one".
  • Instead of Minnie or anyone else putting the plates, cups, and spoons on the table, they appear physically.
  • One of the blue plates is darker than the other blue plates.
  • When Minnie asks Donald if he wants to try on a hat, part of her hand disappears for a split second.
  • When Little Helper decorates the lights, the whole table vanishes.
  • On Disney Jr.'s October 6, 2025 airing of the episode, the whole episode is instrumental except for the off-screen dialogue, the backing vocals in the songs, the theme song and the Hot Dog Dance. This is because of an audio mix error.
