"Minnie's New Puppy" is the second segment of the twenty-ninth episode of Mickey Mouse Funhouse. It premiered on December 9, 2022 alongside "Clarabelle's Pie Day", and is the second segment of the fourth episode in the second season.

Plot

Minnie adopts a new puppy and isn’t prepared to train her.

Synopsis

The episode begins with Minnie entering Funny with a picnic basket, telling everyone that she brought a special surprise. Everyone tries to guess what is inside the basket, and Minnie soon reveals it to be a puppy she adopted from the Hot Dog Hills Animal Rescue Center, named Cream Puff. Cream Puff begins playing with Pluto and Teddy, only to shortly wear them out with her energy and make a mess of the funhouse. Goofy suggests to Minnie that she take Cream Puff to Sunny Side Gulch to train her. However, after climbing the stairs, Cream Puff runs off into the underwater kingdom. Minnie and Daisy run off after her while Mickey, Donald, and Goofy stay behind clean up the mess Cream Puff made earlier.

The scene cuts Minnie and Daisy chasing after Cream Puff, as mermaids, and the dogs ends up almost getting into troubling situations. They meet up with their seahorse friend Bubbles and her new electric eel pet Pearl. Bubbles explains the importance of training your pet so they'll listen to you using positive reinforcement, and she demonstrates by having Pearl perform some tricks and feeding her a treat. Minnie tries training Cream Puff using positive reinforcement, and she begins listening to Minnie after a few attempts.

We then see Minnie, Daisy, and Cream Puff returning to the funhouse just after Mickey, Goofy, and Donald finished cleaning up the place. After Cream Puff is seen playing a bag of trash, Minnie sings a song to get Cream Puff to listen. Cream Puff is then seen sleeping with Pluto and Teddy. The episode ends with Goofy asking Minnie if she will give him a popsicle if he performs some tricks.

• Funny had teeth when Minnie galloped outside the funhouse.
• When Creampuff ran off to Underwater Ocean World, the gang's backpacks are missing.
• Chip is in the end credits, but hasn't physically appeared.
