"Mission Force Plus One" is the second segment of the fifty-eighth episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on October 19, 2017 alongside "Battle for the Zenith", and is the second segment of the fourth episode in the third season.
Plot[]
While the Zenith is heading to Earth, Mission Force One cleans and tidies every part of the ship. Zeno tells the team that they are approaching the Tomorrowland Mission Center. Miles says that the team is ready for their special visitors, which are children, the future of the TTA. Zeno thinks those are the kids that cause lots of mischief. Loretta says that today is the TTA open house event, where kids from everywhere have been waiting all year to visit the Mission Center and tour the Zenith. Zeno assumes that it will not end well. Haruna assumes that the kids want to join Mission Force One.
The TTA open house then begins, and the announcer tells anyone who would like to tour the Zenith to tour the multi-pod. The group of aliens then arrives at the hangar, and are amazed by how great it is. Blodger wants a picture, only for the aliens to cause mischief on the space jets. This is just what Zeno expected. The red alien is impressed by Miles' space jet. The alien introduces himself as Frankie, and he wants to be on the team. Frankie tells Miles that the spacesuit he made was entirely out of space junk. It has a Lazerang and a blast jet, just like Miles'. After causing more mischief, Mirandos, Blodger, and Loretta tell the aliens to see different parts of the ship, and decide to follow Blodger's idea about heading to the labs, where things are made.
With everyone at the labs, Haruna says that next time, Mission Force One will press the buttons. Blodger has an idea of painting, which the aliens agree on. Frankie asks Miles various questions when he sees more space junk. Frankie tells Miles that he is his number one fan when Zeno says that they have to stop the tour due to a call from Admirals Watson and Crick.
After the aliens leave and Blodger reveals that he got painted by them, the Admirals say that there are very excited children during the open house. They then assign Mission Force One on their new mission: a TTA transport shuttle has broken down in space and a Nemesystems thundership is on its way to steal it. No one is on board the shuttle, but it has something valuable: Ghoster Mode, which allows the shuttle and its passengers to pass through solid objects. If Nemesystems gets the Ghoster Mode, they could sneak into any TTA facility. Miles accepts the mission. Before the transmission ends, the Admirals send the team the shuttle's location.
The team then follows the location, and Miles uses the Zenith's hyperspeed. With the thundership approaching closer to the shuttle, the team suits up for the mission when Frankie appears. Frankie overheard everything and is here to help. Miles tells him to take him home, but they can't leave right now. The thundership then seizes the shuttle. Miles decides for the team to sneak onboard the thundership and take back the shuttle. Zeno then activates the ship's Invisitech. Miles tells Frankie that he needs to stay on the Zenith for his own safety. Zeno also says that all the buttons, levers, and switches are off limits. Frankie decides to make sure the Zenith is okay.
Mission Force One then sneaks aboard the thundership. Loretta writes a code to unlock the hatch very quickly. With everyone on the thundership, Mirandos sees no striker bots. Miles sees that the shuttle is in the hangar, which is one level down. A striker bot appears, but is deactivated by a Lazerang, which is Frankie's. Frankie thinks the mission is the best, which Mission Force One disagrees. Frankie decided to give the team a hand due to the Zenith being perfect. M.E.R.C. decides to keep Frankie safe while Mission Force One makes their way to the hangar.
Loretta sees the door that leads to the hangar when more striker bots appear. The team then uses their respective gadgets to deactivate the striker bots. However, Mirandos instead solidizes a chair instead of a sledgehammer, but it still works. After watching Blodger shapeshift into a ball, Frankie wants to do the same, but is held back by M.E.R.C. With more striker bots approaching, the team enters the hangar.
With the hangar door locked, Miles and Frankie launch their Lazerangs to deactivate the defense orbs guarding the shuttle. A control bot breaks into the hangar just as Loretta uses a Holo-Hex to open the hangar door. The shuttle isn't working due to a burned out impulse module. Mirandos tries to solidize another, but she instead solidizes another chair. The control bot then closes the hangar door. Frankie, however, has seen one of the impulse modules before, and he found one in his suit. He thought it was like shoulder armor. Miles tells Frankie that he saved Mission Force One's mission with the impulse module.
With the impulse module plugged in, Miles activates the shuttle's Ghoster Mode to escape the thundership. With everyone's seatbelts buckled, the shuttle escapes the thundership and heads into the Zenith's hangar. The Zenith then heads back to the Tomorrowland Mission Center.
The Admirals thank Mission Force One for completing their mission and for bringing Frankie back safely. Frankie promises to never sneak aboard again. He wanted to be a hero like Miles. Miles tells Frankie that he is a hero and the team could use more just like him. Frankie wonders what the next mission is when he is confronted by M.E.R.C.
