Molly Cottontail is the love interest of Br'er Rabbit, and a recurring character in the comic strips of Uncle Remus.

Sept 28th, 1947
Br'er Rabbit and Br'er Groundhog blasted Br'er Fox out of his hideout along with evidence that he stole money that was raining down in Critter Country. They quickly ran down to get the money until they saw Br'er Bear, Br'er Possum, Br'er Raccoon, Br'er Weasel, Br'er Buzzard, and Br'er Squirrel collecting all the money from the sky. As soon, Br'er Rabbit got down there and told them that some of the money belonged to him, and they doubted him about what he said. Then he said that some of the money that they were holding was stolen money that Br'er Fox stole from the bank, until they took off with the money. Then Molly Cottontail approached and Br'er Rabbit told Molly that she had to believe what he said was the truth, but then she didn't believe him and took off, leaving Br'er Rabbit alone and started to cry.
May 22nd, 1960
Br'er Rabbit was walking down the road as Br'er Sparrow was watching him and wanting to help him. So, Br'er Sparrow flew down and told Br'er Rabbit to follow him because he had no idea what Br'er Sparrow was taking him to. Until Br'er Rabbit spotted Molly Cottontail sitting down on a log, and then he came down and sat next to her, as the two held onto each other with love.
July 24th, 1960
Molly Cottontail was walking down the road and said to herself that she hadn't seen her boyfriend, Br'er Rabbit, a week ago and missed him, and started to feel sad if he didn't love her anymore. So, then she sat down on a log and picked the pedals off of a flower to see if he loved her, or not. As she picked the last pedal off the flower, meaning how he didn't love her, and it made her worried, until Br'er Rabbit held a flower next to her and of how the flower was a good sign of their relationship. And they began to hold each other with love.
Sept 29th, 1963
Molly Cottontail was doing housework, and she made persimmon pies and was about to sow some pillows, until Br'er Bear was near her window. As soon as Molly was about to finish sowing the pillows, she spotted Br'er Bear near her window and yelled out for help. That got Br'er Rabbit and Mr. Sheriff's attention. Br'er Bear said that he was only just looking at the pies that she made until she threw feathers that Miss Goose gave to her, to stop Br'er Bear from preventing him from stealing her pies. Until the two quickly arrived, she gave a slice of persimmon pie to Br'er Rabbit and Mr. Sheriff, while he told Br'er Bear he was off of parole until he picked up every feather.
Jan 5th, 1964
Br'er Rabbit was walking around in Critter Country and spotted Molly Cottontail, and was thinking to himself of how much he loved her, as Molly gave him a smile.
Sept 6th, 1964
Br'er Rabbit was at Molly's place and wanted to know what he had done wrong, and Molly Cottontail told him that he never says anything right, which made Br'er Rabbit sad about how he's going to let Molly know if he loves her if he can't open his mouth. Mrs. Bear, Sis Goose, and Sis Possum witnessed their situation and started talking to each other about what would happen to Br'er Rabbit, which made Molly hear what they were saying and start to regret saying what she said to him. Then Molly went over to Br'er Rabbit's place and gave him a cake because she knew that he loved him, and she then wanted to sit next to him.

She never appeared in the Splash Mountain attraction, but they made a pin of her next to Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox, and Br'er Bear.

- Although, she didn't appeared in the Splash Mountain attraction at the Disney Parks, they only made one merchandise of her on a pin next to Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear.
