Mondo the Frog is a musician frog that plays Afro-Cuban music for the Tiana's Bayou Adventure attraction in the Disney Parks.
Background[]
Mondo is a natural on the conga drums, which he made as a happy accident when his favorite bottle cap got stuck on his second-favorite acorn. From there, the rhythm in Mondo's soul took over! He's very copacetic and accepts what comes, a trait as steady and reliable as his drumbeat.
Development[]
An artwork of Mondo the Frog was revealed to be featured in the upcoming attraction at Disneyland and Walt Disney World's Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Therefore, the Imagineers are creating the animatronic of the frog to make his appearance in the attraction.

Mondo is first seen in the "Gonna Take You There" sequence, where he is sitting on a log staring at guests with other members of the Afro-Cuban Musicians.
He is later seen again in the "Dig a Little Deeper" sequence, where the guests are now small, as he can be seen as huge while he is playing his drums before guests would go down.
Mondo is seen one last time in the "Special Spice" final sequence, where he can be seen playing his drums with other members of the Afro-Cuban Musicians on the front floor of Fleur du Bayou, as Tiana and Naveen are hosting the Mardi Gras party.

Mondo can be seen on The Bayou Community Band poster outside the store, and can also be seen on a portrait inside the store.
