This article is about the character from Marvel Comics. For the character from Treasure Planet, see Morph.

Morph is a Marvel Comics character that appears in X-Men '97, voiced by J.P. Karliak.

Morph is a mutant with the mutant power of shapeshifting. Initially a member of the X-Men, the combination of brainwashing and a near-death experience turned Morph into a recurring villain. Eventually, Morph redeemed themselves, resuming their role as an ally of the X-Men.

Morph was created by Roy Thomas and Werner Roth.

Trivia[]

  • Originally, Morph presented themselves as male, using he/him pronouns in both comics and the 1992 X-Men series. By the events of X-Men '97, Morph transitioned into non-binary, and now uses they/them pronouns.[2]
