Mother Pegasus is one of the main protagonists from Disney's 1940 short The Pastrol Symphony, segment of the 1940 film Fantasia.
Role in the film
Mother Pegasus is shown to be a patient and kind mother towards her foals. When her youngest colt trys to fly on his own and falls to the ground, she quickly flies to his side and helps him up again. She holds him up in the air as he learns how to fly. When Zeus sends a thunderstorm down from Mount Olympus, Mother Pegasus quickly leads her foals back to their nest and shelters them from the rain beneath her wings.
