Mr. Klaus is a character who appears in the 2021 Disney+ original film Flora & Ulysses.
Background[]
Mr. Klaus is described as a psychotic yet grumpy cat who is shown to have a hostile attitude. Regardless whether any victim he finds is harming him or not, Mr. Klaus shows a very aggressive behavior towards the person often trying to pounce on them and then going after them with such behavior. Despite his attitude, Mr. Klaus is not a genuine villain but rather more of a neutral cat.
Role in the film[]
Mr. Klaus is first seen approaching Flora and her father George on their way to the Blixen Arms Apartment where he ferociously approaches the two and chases them in a hostile manner. Just as he almost pounces on the two, they were able to escape, causing Mr. Klaus to hit the door as he retreats.
Later when George and William approach Miller and trick him about Ulysses' fate, Mr. Klaus suddenly pounces on Miller, attacking him across the apartment grounds in an aggressive manner and as he attacks him ferociously, he tosses him in a swimming pool just before Miller catches him and brings him to the animal control facility, putting him on an animal container. However, Mr. Klaus bites him as he is on his way to bring him, causing him to drop the container. Mr. Klaus is later captured and placed into the animal control facility.

However, when George presses the button while attempting to find Ulysses, this results in Mr. Klaus, other cats, dogs, an owl, and goats to be released, stalling the workers. Later when Miller confronts George telling him to get away from Ulysses, Mr. Klaus later pounces on Miller, ferociously attacking him in an aggressive manner. Mr. Klaus last appears in a mid-credits scene where Rita introduces Miller to Mr. Klaus who attempts to pounce on him.

- The way Mr. Klaus was tossed into a swimming pool at the apartment during the battle against Miller where he stares angrily is a nod to how most cats dislike water.
