Mr. Mayor is a character who was featured in the Disney Parks for the opening ceremony of the Splash Mountain attraction in 1992.

He appeared in the opening ceremony for Splash Mountain at the Magic Kingdom, where he was about to open an attraction. Until he saw Br'er Rabbit and Br'er Fox about to leave, and asked them why they were leaving because there is no water on Splash Mountain. So then he asked Br'er Bear if he could help him if he could fix the problem by having him get on top of the mountain. Once Br'er Bear fixes the problem, he then tells everyone to count down, so they can open the newest attraction in the Magic Kingdom. As they finished counting down, Br'er Bear can be seen on a log going down into the Briar Patch, as the mayor and the others were singing "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" as they opened the attraction, Splash Mountain.
