Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, aka Mr. Toad, is a dark ride located in Fantasyland in the Disneyland theme park.
Mr. Toad is one of the opening day attractions at Disneyland. It received a major overhaul during the 1983 Fantasyland remodel.

This attraction recreates the wacky trip taken by J. Thaddeus Toad in the film The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. The old fashioned motorcar careens through Toad Hall and out into the countryside before speeding through town, wreaking havoc with the citizens and destroying a dynamite storehouse before being caught by the police and sentenced by a judge.
The car makes an escape by turning into a train tunnel. The escape is short lived as a train collides with the vehicle, sending it and its occupants into Hell before returning to the real world.

Magic Kingdom version
The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World had a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride attraction from opening day until 1998 when it was closed amidst great protest from the Disney community. It was replaced by the The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction. The Magic Kingdom version differed from the Disneyland version in having two different track plans within the show building.
