A Wrinkle in Time (2018)[]

Charles Wallace first approaches Mrs. Who in a study area and as Charles approaches her, she encourages Meg and Calvin to sit next to her. She then explains to the three that "life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit", just as Charles Wallace feels curious of how Mrs. Who speaks in quotes just as he introduces Meg to her. As Meg approaches her, Mrs. Who explains to Meg that "the wound is a place where the light enters her" (presumably referring to the tesseract), just before she rests.

Later, Mrs. Who appears in the backyard where Mrs. Whatsit is at, just as Calvin tells Meg and Calvin that the Mrs. Ws are there. As Meg plans to accept the offer given by the three Mrs. Ws in a plan to rescue her father, Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin are taken to another dimension via tesseract given out by the Mrs. Ws. After Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin are sent to the planet Uriel, Mrs. Who then approaches Meg who helps her get up just as Meg explore Uriel around her. Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which later react to Mrs. Whatsit who transformed into a large mystical creature taking Meg, Calvin, and Charles to encounter the Happy Medium in his cave. Mrs. Who later rushes with the flowers who summoned by Mrs. Which on their way to save Calvin, which the flowers were able to save him. She later approaches Meg, Calvin, and Charles where she noticed them landing safely while being negatively affected by a mysterious evil energy known as the It, which the three must plan on avoiding at all costs. Mrs. Who then explains that "love looks not in the eyes but with the mind", reminding Whatsit of the Happy Medium, a seer who would help Meg find her father. In a plan to help Meg find her father, Mrs. Which helps Mrs. Who and Mrs. Whatsit take Calvin, Charles, and Meg to the planet Orion, reminding Mrs. Whatsit of a seer who would assist them.

Mrs. Who and Mrs. Whatsit are seen taking Calvin and Charles to the Happy Medium's lair where they stand on one foot balancing on stones just as Mrs. Which thinks of the It's negativity spreading across the universe. After Meg realizes that her father was captured, she asks the Mrs. Ws to help her travel to Camazotz to find her father, which Mrs. Who quotes a line by Winston Churchill saying that planning is essential. The Mrs. Ws plan to send Meg back to Earth for safety, but Meg instead re-directs the tesseract to Camazotz.

After Meg, Charles, and Calvin find themselves at Camazotz, they approach the Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which, and Mrs. Whatsit, where it is found that they are weakening, due to the fact that Meg's will to find her father weakened their tesser as she re-directed it from Earth, just as the three are unable to help them find her father. Mrs. Who gives her a pair of glasses as a gift for Meg to enfold just before all three Mrs. Ws leave just as Mrs. Which tells Meg, Charles, and Calvin to stay together. Mrs. Who warns them that Camazotz is a location run by the It who spreads negativity all across the planet, and then quotes a line from William Shakespeare, followed by the other Mrs. Ws bidding a farewell to the three. Meg remembers the sayings the Mrs. Ws taught to her to help defeat the It to free Calvin from his control after saving her father.

After Meg defeated the It using an act of love she showed to Charles Wallace, Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which, and Mrs. Whatsit appear and praise Meg and Charles for being heroes who saved the universe from darkness. Mrs. Who praises Charles that the light returned while Mrs. Which praises Meg for her heroic actions. Mrs. Who also feels happy that Meg saved the universe and brought the light back in, thanks to her who defeated the It and saved the world from the darkness he caused. The Mrs. Ws also tell Meg that she should be proud like one of the greatest warriors on Earth just as Meg is deemed a heroine who became willing to face the darkness, bringing the best of herself to the light for the world. Afterwards, Meg performs the tesser for all the Mrs. Ws so she can make her way back home. Mrs. Who then quotes a line from Lin-Manuel Miranda, saying, "Tomorrow, there'll be more of us", just as the three Mrs. Ws bid a farewell to Meg and Charles who return home altogether.
