"Mummy's Day" is the first segment of the eighteenth episode of Vampirina. It premiered on April 27, 2018 alongside "Dance-lvania".
Plot[]
Oxana is preparing the food for Vampirina and Poppy and tells them that she has to get the Scare B&B ready for the Hauntleys' new guest. Oxana then throws a snack to Wolfie and the gooey goblin gingersnaps she made to the plant. She mentions that the Scare B&B has had monsters every night that week and that due to all the work she's done, she needs a break. Just then, the guest arrives, introducing herself as Mary-Margaret Mummyton of the Mummytons from Egypt. She is here for Mummy's Day, her favorite day of the year, which is a day for mummies who are mommies to rest and relax. Oxana likes this. Mummyton got a fabulous trip to Pennsylvania. The Hauntleys will make sure Mummyton will have a Mummy's Day she'll never forget.
As Oxana leads Mummyton to the latter's room, Vampirina tells Demi that Oxana deserves to have a Mummy's Day, as well, and suggests that she and Poppy set up a Spooky Spa in the dungeon. While Oxana is away, the others will run the Scare B&B. They will also need the perfect Mummy's Day gift, as well. Boris will get it and is assured by Vampirina that the Scare B&B will be handled. Oxana tells everyone that she needs to make dinner and take care of the cobwebs in the guest room, which Vampirina assures will happen. Mummyton likes it, stating that Mummy's Day is for all monster mommies. Vampirina and Mummyton tell Oxana to have a great Mummy's Day. Mummyton then decides to join Oxana in the Spooky Spa, and reveals that she has triplets. Vampirina states that she, Poppy, Demi, Gregoria, and Chef Remy Bones can handle everything. Mummyton tells her triplets, Ace, Karl, and Tootie, to be good for Vampirina until she gets back.
As Mummyton and Oxana are in the spa, Demi and Gregoria prepare everything for them, wrapping them up mummy-style. Oxana decides for a blood orange smoothie, which is Mummyton's favorite. Gregoria decides to be a footstool for Mummyton. Meanwhile, Vampirina gives yummy mummy milks to the triplets, and Demi prepares the smoothies. However, Karl takes one of Bones' legs. As Bones chases him, he accidentally sets the smoothie loose. However, Demi saves them. Meanwhile, the triplets make more of a mess, making their bandages everywhere, while Vampirina catches up with Poppy, who states that she did something the human way instead of the vampire way. Vampirina states that taking care of the cobwebs means adding more instead of taking them down. They are what make the Scare B&B cozy. Vampirina show Poppy the bandages all around the house.
As Mummyton and Oxana are being massaged, Gregoria sees Wolfie playing with the triplets, but he and Demi state that the growling adds to the spa atmosphere. Gregoria and Demi then see Vampirina and Poppy trying to take care of the other triplets, and Vampirina explains everything with dinner time almost there. Poppy states that more help is needed to run the Scare B&B. Gregoria states that Oxana is the only one who can fix the mess, but Vampirina states that she can't take away Oxana's one day off, due to how hard she works. Vampirina states that she's not giving up, and that she and the others will find a way for Oxana.
With everyone's help, the mess is cleaned, the triplets get their bandages wrapped back to normal, the cobwebs are back to where they were, and Bones makes the perfect dinner. While the triplets are taking a bath to clean themselves, Demi tells everyone that Oxana and Mummyton are coming. Vampirina quickly puts a flower vase and trims the flowers just in time. Oxana and Mummyton arrive and Boris gives them a gift, which is the entire Hauntley family. After Oxana places it, she and Mummyton have their Mummy's Day dinner, and love everything they see. Vampirina hugs Oxana due to the latter being herself and a supernatural mom. Oxana thanks Vampirina for the perfect Mummy's Day, and suggests that she should be in charge of the Scare B&B more often. Vampirina says not that often, but she'd do anything for Oxana. Meanwhile, one of the triplets has one of Bones' hands, and Bones chases it with the other triplets following.
