"My Funny Friend and Me" is the theme song from The Emperor's New Groove. It is sung in Kuzco's point of view over the credits by Sting from the Police who wrote the music and lyrics (with David Hartley taking part in the former). It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song, but it lost to "Things Have Changed" from Wonder Boys.
Sting also sang an Italian-language version of the song.
