"My Funny Valentines" is the second segment of the thirty-second episode of Recess.
Synopsis[]
T.J. creates prank valentines- complications ensue.
Plot[]
Valentines Day has come and everyone is making their Valentines goody bags. Miss Grotke is shocked to see that T.J.'s bag features a realistic heart on it. He claims that he chooses not to celebrate Valentines Day and that he will not be giving cards to anyone. The Gang is baffled why he would choose to do something like that, except for Spinelli who thinks his bag is cool. However, upon arriving at Kelso's, Spinelli reverts to loving Valentines cards. Incensed, T.J. decides to give all the girls gag cards with poems on them.
The next day, T.J. is surprised to find that all the girls love his cards, apparently overlooking the sarcastic and ironic poems in them and believe that he genuinely cares about them. He tells Vince who suggests that he tell them to keep it between them. However, the Ashleys all quickly discover that they all received cards from him and gather all the girls who begin to chase T.J. with the threat of putting make up on him. T.J. and Vince run into Spinelli and Gretchen who also got similar cards and also join in chasing T.J.
T.J. and Vince hide in the bathroom where Mikey and Gus enter. They try to leave after hearing what is happening, but also get trapped. They make a deal with all the girls to let T.J. say his piece, admitting that what he did was wrong, but also adds that for one day he made them all feel special. The girls concur and admit that they do like his cards, but after T.J. mentions that the poems were all jokes, the girls suddenly realize the sarcastic nature of them and continue to chase T.J. out of the school.

- On Disney+ and outside the U.S., this episode is first next to "The Ratings Game".
- For some reason, the first girl that speaks to T.J. is first voiced by Elizabeth Daily, but is later voiced by Mayim Bialik.
- Despite this and "That Stinking Feeling" collectively being the Valentine's Day episode, both episodes aired in November.
