Natalie Portman (born Neta-Lee Hershlag; Hebrew: נטע-לי הֵרְשְׁלַג) is an actress who bears dual American and Israeli citizenship.
She is best known for portraying Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. She also played Jane Foster in the Marvel film Thor, and reprised her role in the 2013 film Thor: The Dark World, and the 2021 film Thor: Love and Thunder. Archive footage of her was used to depict Jane Foster in Avengers: Endgame. She also played Lucy Cola in Lucy in the Sky.
She was mentioned, though unseen, in the The Muppets episode "Walk the Swine".

- Portman was originally considered for the role of Black Widow in Iron Man 2,[1] but at the end, Scarlett Johansson was cast instead. However, she ended up being cast as Jane Foster in Thor.
