National Treasure: Edge of History is an American live-action streaming television series, created by Cormac Wibberley and Marianne Wibberley and aired on Disney+. It is a continuation of the film series.
Plot[]
Jess Valenzuela's life is turned upside down when an enigmatic stranger gives her a clue to a centuries-old treasure that might be connected to her long-dead father. Jess has a knack for solving puzzles, and her skills are put to the test as she and her friends follow a series of clues hidden in American artifacts and landmarks. But can Jess outsmart a black-market antiquities dealer in a race to find history's greatest lost treasure and unbury the truth about her family's past?

Production[]
On May 7, 2020, Collider reported that a Disney+ series based on National Treasure was in active development.[1] The series would follow the same concept as the films with a younger cast. The script for pilot was done and they were plotting the story for the rest of the episodes.
On October 28, 2021, Lisette Alexis was cast as the lead role of Jess in the series, and that filming is scheduled to begin in early 2022.[2]
On April 11, 2022, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Justin Bartha and Harvey Keitel would be reprising there roles as Riley Poole and Peter Sadusky from the film series.[3]
On June 28, 2022, it was reported that filming had officially began in New Mexico.[4]
On September 7, 2022, it was reported that Trevor Rabin would compose the score for the series.[5]
On September 9, 2022, it was reported that the series would premiere its first two episodes on December 14, 2022.[6]
On April 21, 2023, Deadline reported that the series had been canceled after one season.[7]
