New Holland appears to have been a Dutch settlement originally. Some of the town's main locations are the New Holland Windmill, the New Holland Elementary School, and the Pet Cemetery. The mayor of New Holland is Mr. Burgermeister. Located within the city of New Holland is a neighborhood where Victor Frankenstein and his family live alongside their pet dog Sparky who lives next door with Elsa Van Helsing and her pet poodle Persephone. In addition to this, the letter signs of New Holland are placed onto a hill resembling that of the Hollywood Sign.

Dutch Day is an annual festival that New Holland celebrates being run by Mr. Burgermeister who hosts the event. Traditionally, the event features a participant who participates as the Dutch Girl throughout the event where the participant would sing "Praise Be New Holland", a song that describes the city of New Holland as the participant performs on the main stage in front of the audience. In addition to having Dutch-themed markets, rides and/or games are also placed during the Dutch Day event to make it a carnival such as a Ferris wheel or a shooting gallery.
