"Night Bite" is the fifth animated short of Tangled: The Series. It premiered on June 25, 2018.
Plot[]
After a long day, Rapunzel, Eugene, and Pascal are camping out under the stars. Much to Maximus' dismay, he is put on guard duty while everyone else gets a good night sleep. Not long after Rapunzel falls asleep, a mosquito buzzes around Maximus. He tries to blow it away, but when it dives towards Rapunzel Maximus intervenes. The mosquito then bites Maximus all over, making him itch like crazy.
Rapunzel is woken up by the commotion, and soon catches sight of the mosquito. Rapunzel tries to whack it away with her frying pan, but the mosquito is moving too fast. Eugene, still sleepy, wakes up to see Rapunzel and Maximus fighting off the mosquito. Rapunzel swings her frying pan so much that it slips out of her hands. The handle pierces into the tree, missing Eugene's head. But he hits his head on the frying pan and is out cold. Rapunzel prepares take on the mosquito with fire, but then Pascal catches it with his tongue and eats it. Afterwards, Pascal is put on guard duty instead while the others, including Maximus, sleep.
