"Night of the Golden Pumpkin" is the first segment of the twenty-second episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on October 14, 2011 alongside "Trick or Treasure!".
Plot[]
It's Halloween, and the pirate kids are going to Neverland in search of the golden pumpkin. Cubby is frightened about it, but Izzy tells him that looking for the pumpkin is like looking for treasure and they get to paint a funny face on it. Meanwhile on the the Jolly Roger, Mr. Smee tells Captain Hook that tonight's Halloween, and mentions a pirate story about the Golden Pumpkin that Sharky and Bones singing, that on Halloween Eve, it rises up high in the Never Land sky and starts to fly. Captain Hook doesn't believe the idea, but when Jake wishes them a happy Halloween, he wonders what the puny pirates are up to, and decides to follow them, as he thinks that the Golden Pumpkin isn't just a myth after all.
To get to the Golden Pumpkin, Jake and his crew have to look for the Pirate Pumpkin Patch. So, Cubby checks his map to find out that they're at Shipwreck Beach. They need to go through Tiki Forest and that will take them to the Pirate Pumpkin Patch. They soon come across trees that look like Tiki masks. A tree then talks, revealing them to be alive. After being asked for help by Jake for directions to the Pirate Pumpkin Patch, the Tiki Trees state that they need to past the red tiki, turn right at the blue, and the bright yellow path will light up for them. Jake and his crew follow the directions to make it out of the forest, eating three gold doubloons and continue their way to the Pirate Pumpkin Patch.
When Captain Hook and Mr. Smee make it to the forest, they become lost due to Captain Hook's overconfidence. Mr. Smee proposes to decide to go up a tree to see where they are, and Captain Hook agrees with it; however, they get sent back down by the Tiki Trees. So, they leave the forest.
Meanwhile, Jake and his crew arrive at the Pirate Pumpkin Patch. They then use their spy glasses to find the Golden Pumpkin, earning three more gold doubloons. As soon as they get it, Captain Hook steals it for himself. To get it back, Izzy decides to use her Pixie Dust to make it fly away from Captain Hook. First, Skully distracts Captain Hook and Mr. Smee by grabbing a leaf and flying while leaving their shadows visible. Izzy then uses the Pixie Dust on the Golden Pumpkin to make it fly away, according to the legend. This scares Captain Hook and Mr. Smee away. Cubby states that he's not afraid of a flying pumpkin.
Jake and his crew then fly along with the Golden Pumpkin and got it back, earning four more gold doubloons, and head back to Pirate Island to put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. They then begin the Halloween party by decorating the Golden Pumpkin. Meanwhile, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee vow to never look for any pumpkins again, with the former never wanting to see another Tiki Tree again. However, they soon end up back in Tiki Forest, and the Tiki Trees force Captain Hook out.
