Nine Inch Nails, abbreviated to NIN, and stylized as NIИ, is an American rock band formed in Cleveland, Ohio. They are known for their particularly industrial sounding, electronic metal rock sound. While the band formed by Trent Reznor, who has remained the only constant, in 2016, Atticus Ross, a British musician, became a permanent mainstay.
For Disney, Reznor and Ross composed the music for the Pixar animated film Soul and Tron: Ares, the latter of which they were credited under their band name. Additionally, Ross composed the music for the FX on Hulu series Shōgun, along with Leopold Ross and Nick Chuba.
