"Ninki Ninja Fight Town" is the fifteenth episode of the second season of Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero. It premiered on July 24, 2017.
Synopsis
Penn must defeat Rippen in an anime-style world and overcome his fear of what people might think of him.
Plot
Trivia
- The episode contains several references to the Anime series.
- Penn's anime character reference to Goku from Dragon Ball Z.
- Boone's anime character reference to Master Roshi, who is also from Dragon Ball Z.
- This is the first episode to parody anime.
- Sashi's transformation is a parody of Sailor Moon.
- Rippen's transformation after eating the shrimp is a reference to Tetsuo's mutation in Akira.
- Yumi is a reference to Misty from Pokémon.
- Ape-bus is a reference to Catbus from My Neighbor Totoro.
- Yumi's voice actress is Hynden Walch who voiced Starfire from Teen Titans and Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time.
- Rina Hoshino is a special guest star. She sings her song In This Ninki Ninja Fight during Sashi's Sailor Moon transformation and the end credits song.
- Rippen's anime hair reference to Yugi Muto from the original anime of Yu-Gi-Oh!.
- Yumi's earrings reference to Poké Balls from the Pokémon franchise.
- This is the second time where one character winks at the viewers in the end of the episode. The first was Phyllis in "Temple of the Porcelain God".
- When Yumi's two Pokémon are defeated by Rippen, it looks like the scenes that are in almost every episode of the Pokémon anime where Team Rocket "blasts off."
- Michael Chandler and Roger Craig Smith are guest stars as Arata and Hideo.
- The Arena is reference to Naruto (Anime).
