"No Manhands Is An Island" is the first segment of the fifth episode of the Disney Channel animated series StuGo.
Synopsis[]
Maritime Mutation! Chip tries committing to the ways of survivalist Nils Vulfen.
Plot[]
The kids are on the beach with Chip attempting to start a fire to heat up hotdogs, though he is failing miserably at it. Pliny and Sara arrive with "kindle" composed of magazines and DVDs. When this also fails, the group decide to go inside and simply heat the hot dog up in the microwave. A defeated Chip looks through the magazines and DVDs and learns of survivalist Nils Vulfen. He becomes enamored with the teachings of the expert and tries to live life following Nils's advice. This means, living off the land, taking everything full force and, most importantly, refusing help and friends and living life alone.
When Chip ends up floating away into the ocean, the rest of the kids attempt to help him, but he refuses, causing him to drift out further. Chip ends up getting surrounded by the sea life and debris and soon becomes a literal island. The rest of the kids take a boat to find him and end up on his small slop island which has created its own ecosystem. Chip plans to eventually build a bridge to the mainland, though it's slow going, and once again refuses help from his friends, who leave dejectedly. When Chip's ear krill tells him that he is his friend, Chip kicks him off the island as he wants to continue going solo with no help.
Eventually, Chip encounters Nils himself who has become a large island complete with a volcano. While he continues to admire him, Nils reveals his intent to absorb Chip's island along with him. The ear krill brings the rest of the kids back who attempt to help Chip, only to get absorbed into Nils's island. Chip realizes that Nils still insists on being alone and reminds him that he will technically have him and his friends with him all the time. Horrified by this, Nils's island explodes and he leaves via a whale. Chip reunites with his friends and agrees to return home and have microwaved hot dogs.
