Noelle is an upcoming American fantasy adventure comedy film, created and produced at Walt Disney Pictures and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

It will be released on November 12 on the Disney+ streaming service.



On January 11, 2017, it was announced that Anna Kendrick will play the titular role in the female Santa Claus film. She would play Claus' daughter, Noelle. The film will be directed by Marc Lawrence from his own script for Walt Disney Pictures, and would be produced by Suzanne Todd. In July 2017, Bill Hader joined the cast In September 2017, Billy Eichner and Shirley MacLaine joined the cast. In October 2017, Julie Hagerty and Maceo Smedley joined the cast. In November 2017, Michael Gross joined the cast.

Principal photography for the film began in late-October 2017 in Vancouver, British Columbia and later moved to Whistler Olympic Park in early-January 2018, where filming continued until January 19.

While originally planned as a theatrical release, the movie will instead premiere in Disney+ on November 12, 2019[1]. Originally planned to release on November 8, 2019, Disney removed it from its upcoming release schedule on March 1, 2018.[2]
