The Noor Dimension is a location featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, first appearing in the Disney+ series, Ms. Marvel.
It is the home dimension to a species, most commonly referred to as Djinn. The Noor Dimension is connected to Earth, but hidden, by the Veil of Noor, that separates the two worlds. The Clandestines are a group of Djinn, who were exiled from the Noor Dimension, and have sought a way to return. They learn of Kamala Khan, a Djinn-Human hybrid who possesses a bangle, that's key in helping them return.
The Noor Dimension is based on the Light Dimension, which was originally created by writer, Marv Wolfman.
Background[]
The Noor Dimension is the native home to a race of beings, most commonly referred to as Djinn. It is one world of many, connected to, but hidden from Earth.
Noor is the energy source of the entire realm, and responsible for making up the Veil that separates it, and the inhabitants of its world, from Earth. The Veil of Noor, acts as a barrier. If the Veil were to be torn down, the Noor Dimension would be unleashed, and bleed onto Earth, until it's taken over, and nothing is left.
Djinns have the ability to wield Noor, but outside their home dimension, their powers are greatly subdued. Djinn-Human hybrids, such as Kamala Khan and Kamran have the potential to access Noor, though their abilities remain dormant, until they're unlocked.
A bangle, existing on the Earthly Plane, holds some form of connection to the Noor Dimension. It was used to unlock latent Noor abilities, within Kamala Khan, a Djinn-Hyman hybrid, and is one part of a matching pair. When its power is combined with its other half, the bangle is capable of creating an opening within the Veil of Noor, and providing a gateway to the Noor Dimension.

A group of Djinn, known as the Clandestines, compromised of Najma, Aisha, Fariha, Aadam, and Saleem live in the Noor Dimension. Unknown circumstances lead to their exile, and they are banished onto Earth. Ever since these events, they seek a way to return back to their home.
After Aisha's demise, many decades pass, and the Clandestines learn of Aisha's descendant, Kamala Khan in possessesion of the bangle they seek. The ask her to complete their mission in helping them return home, but she expresses doubt in doing so, upon learning the risk.
When Kamala comes across the Order of the Red Daggers, they showcase a 3D hologram which presents a figurine of the Noor Dimension. The Order's leader, Waleed explains to Kamala, the dangers the Earth would face, in breaking through the Veil of Noor.
When Kamala returns to the present, after travelling back in time, the Veil of Noor opens, leading to the Noor Dimension. The energy begins bleeding onto Earth, and leaves a path of destruction. When Fariha makes contact with it, she meets her demise, as her body crystallises, and she is instantly killed. Najma realizes she must help restore the veil of Noor, and sacrifices herself, for the sake of her son, closing the Veil.
