Numbers is one of the supporting antagonists in the film Dick Tracy. He was played by James Tolkan. He is aware of (and complicit in) Big Boy's illegal activities, but he is not violent or menacing as most of the villains are.

History

Little is known about Numbers, except that he worked as Big Boy's accountant and he excelled at his job. Despite his corrupt occupation, he showed signs of being religious, as he crossed himself after Big Boy executed Lips Manlis. Numbers was not shown to have died during the New Years Eve shootout at Club Ritz, and he was most likely arrested.

Notes

  • Unlike the film's other villains, Numbers was an original character created specifically for the film (similar to Bug Bailey).
