Appearances[]
Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse[]
When Mickey makes his way into the battle room, the Oafish Clock Maker waits on the right side.
In combat, the Clock Maker attacks by swinging his mallet and jumping around his arena. As with the other bosses, Mickey has to attack him with a stomp. At low health, the Clock Maker may cover his head to shield it. After eight hits, the Clock Maker is defeated, releasing the gem he was hiding.
Remake[]
In the Playstation remake, the Clock Maker has his hit point maximum raised to ten, and his battle is divided into ten phases. Upon defeat, the Clock Maker collapses due to the bell ringing.
His statue description reveals that he used the gem to create the clock tower. However, he became slower and clumsier the more he used it.
Phases 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9[]
Phases 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 work identically to the original gameplay aside from the battle being three-dimensional and taking place on a cog that serves as a circular platform, but the Clock Maker now falls over after his hammer attack, exposing his weak spot for a few seconds.
Phases 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10[]
These phases underwent a drastic overhaul, with the Clock Maker performing a spinning hammer attack and sliding along the ground. Mickey has to lure him into the bells that spawn around the arena to deal damage to the Clock Maker. During phase 2, there are five bells. This is reduced to four during phase 4, three during phase 6, two during phase 8, and a single one during phase 10. Only these hit points are recorded in the life meter.
